JAPANESE HAIR STRAIGHTENING |
|
Thermal Reconditioning originated in Japan and has been practiced in the
United States for just over six years. This treatment has been featured in
just about every fashion magazine in America including:
In Style, Allure,
Vogue, Marie Claire, Jane, Woman's Day, Cosmopolitan,
Self, Oprah, Lucky, Glamour, and Elle
The process produces stunning results that can last from six to ten months.
Not pleased with the results you get from chemically straightening your hair? Unlike regular relaxers, which simply smooth out the hair - only to revert back to its natural state weeks later - the Japanese Hair Straightening method permanently straightens hair of any grade or type. Does it sound too good to be true? For once, it is true!
The process of Japanese Hair Straightening goes by many names: Thermal Reconditioning, Japanese Straight Perm, Rebonding, Thermal Reconstruction, and Ironic Straightener, to name a few. But all of these names mean the same thing: the path to permanently straight hair.
So what is the secret to the process that achieves such fabulous results? Japanese Hair Straightening involves a very thorough process of washing the hair and straightening it using a series of heated styling tools. While it may sound like a lot of wear and tear, you will emerge from the salon with completely retexturized, sleek, bone-straight, healthy hair.
Most salons will provide you with a special shampoo and conditioner to go with your new do so throw out your other hair products that can have a negative effect on your hair. It is a general rule of thumb to avoid washing your hair for 12-72 hours after the treatment to make sure the hair has completely reformed to its new state.
Japanese Hair Straightening is not recommended for those with hair that has undergone multiple serious chemical treatments. The results for Japanese Hair Straightening usually last for one year and may require a touch-up session to take care
